Every Day Dan surpasses $100,000 season

HARRINGTON, DE – George and Tina Dennis’ Every Day Dan ($5.80, Mike Cole) was a 1:56.2 winner in the $22,500 Open Trot Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.

The 6-year-old Dover Dan gelding led every call for trainer Joe Columbo while achieving his 5^th win of the year. Wily Wally received a pocket trip and finished second while Vlahos was third. Every Day Dan surpassed $100,000 in seasonal earnings with the win, his 21^st lifetime.

Brandon Givens, Art Stafford Jr., Mike Cole,  Eddie Dennis and Tony Morgan each had driving doubles.

Live racing will go on a summer hiatus before a brief respite on July 23, the Delaware State Fair racing card (special 7 p.m. post time) before the resumption of the live racing meet on August 17.
