Siblings to last year’s outstanding classic winners Ideal For Real and Heavens Trend will spearhead the 12-strong draft being prepared by Durham Park for the Australian Pacing Gold sale at Oaklands Junction on Sunday, February 7.
The American Ideal brother to Ideal For Real, winner of the NSW Derby, will be offered as Lot 99, while the Rock N Roll Heaven sister to the NSW Breeders Challenge winner, Victoria 2YO Filly of the Year and Australasian record holder Heavens Trend will go under the hammer as Lot 109.
Durham Park is also offering close relatives of crack American pacers Maltese Artist and Lyonssomewhere as Lots 156 and 195 respectively.
Lot 156 is a Courage Under Fire filly out of the Artsplace mare Catapult (1:53.4), a half-sister to Lyonssomewhere (1:48.2), winner of the Cane Futurity and $562,968, while 195 is a Bettor’s Delight colt from a half-sister to the multi-millionaire and world champion Maltese Artist (1:48.6).
The Durham Park consignment also includes close relatives of top horses such as 2015 NSW Breeders Challenge winner Luda, Soho Tokyo ($148,191), world champion and successful sire Pacific Fella, the multiple USA Stakes winner Sand Shooter (1:49.4), Life Is A Cabaret ($865,396) and Way Of Life ($240,910) and NZ 3YO of the Year Franco Heir.
