Down Under Winners from North America

Six Australian and New Zealand bred pacers put up 1:50 winning miles in North America last week including five with new lifetime marks.

Heading the charge were the ex-Kiwi pair Jordy and Dalton Shard, who clocked 1:48.6 and 1:48.8 respectively winning $30,000 races at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday (July 4).

Jordy, an eight-year-old Bettor’s Delight gelding, was bred by the Canterbury-based McDermott family, while Dalton Shard, a six-year-old son of Always B Miki, was bred by Southland couple Mark and Debbie Smith.
