Be My Rose NZ, an eight-year-old American Ideal mare, led in a Kiwi harness racing quinella with A Delightful Act second in a $19,500 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap in 1:55.2 at Northfield Park on Friday night (January 17). 

Bred by Barry and Katrina Purdon, Be My Rose notched her ninth win on American soil and boosted her stake tally to almost $US200,000.
