Diamond Truppo returns a winner

Diamond Truppo (6m Varenne-Nives Manco-Indro Park) scored in the Grand Prix de Vitesse de Divonne les Bains (purse 43,000€, 2000 meters autostart, nine European starters ages 6-11) at Divonne  les Bains.

He was clocked in track record  time 1.09.9kr for driver Paul Philippe Ploquin and his new trainer Thierry Duvaldestin and he was off the 1.4/1 odds second favorite.  This a great achievement over the 1200 meter track by the horse raised by Allev. Truppo. Pachino Horse Srls owns the winner of 384,720€ and third was his first victory in France. Ister Man (7g Doberman) was a distant second at 4.7/1 odds with trainer Jonathan Cudo driving followed by 1.2/1 odds favorite Indus Val (7g Booster Winner) with P-Y Verva aboard.

The Gr. III Grand Prix de la Ville de Nice (purse 69,000€, 2925 meters, 12 European starters ages 7-11) at Cagnes sur Mer went to 5/10 odds favorite Grand Trio Ludois (9g Booster Winner-Racee des Jacquets) with Theo Briand aboard for conditioner Simon Laloum and owner Alain Laloum.

The winner  now posts 14 career wins for 372,715€. Give Me (9g Love You) was second at 38/1 for Jean Charles Feron and trainer J.M. Roubaud.  Severine Raimond bred and owns this one.

Third home was 66/1 Feel Good Desbois (10g Look de Star) with Kevin Devienne aboard for trainer Roubaud.

This day in the Preferred Equine online auction a share in the successful sire Walner was sold for US$264,000 with the winning buyer being Jean Pierre Barjon the President of SECF.

Barjon is a successful owner and breeder of trotteurs racing in Europe and in America. He won an Amerique Prize with Meaulnes du Corta conditioned by Pierre Levesque.
