Dangerous enhances his Inter Dominion credentials with impressive win
The very capable Dangerous (Sweet Lou) threw in his claims as a serious contender in next week’s Final when he gave a strong front running harness racing performance to take out the first heat of the second round of the Inter Dominion Pacing Championships at Albion Park on Saturday evening.

Prior to the event driver Cameron Hart indicated that he might take a sit behind Nyack and then go around him. And that’s precisely what happened as Nyack showed blistering speed to hold out local pacer Attachment.
Dangerous was right behind Nyack but not for long as Hart quickly whizzed around to take up the running and then it was obvious that he would be the horse to beat.

Fighter Command who was so impressive last week was three back on the fence with Ubetcha Tigerpie right behind him and Emma Stewart’s two contenders Bay Of Biscay and War Dan Buddy back at the rear from their luckless second row draws.
DANGEROUS 11 JULY REPLAY
After having comfortable first two quarters Dangerous ran a third quarter in 27.3 seconds and then with a final quarter of 26 seconds made it impossible for those behind to catch him. Nyack battled on gamely for second with Attachment a fair way back third ahead of War Dan Buddy who came from well back.
Unfortunately Fighter Command broke up in the final lap effectively ruining all chance and checking Ubetcha Tigerpie.
Hart was full of praise for Dangerous following his exhilarating win.
He was super tonight.
He just exploded away on the corner when I asked him. He felt real strong to the line.
He certainly does have speed. I thought I was sitting behind the mare (Captains Mistress) when I let him rip. He was awesome, he couldn’t have been more impressive. I definitely think he’s a winning chance (in the Final) that’s for sure. He’s very versatile he’s got great speed. He can also stick. So with a good draw he’ll definitely be in it.
Not long in Jason Grimson’s stables, Dangerous is a versatile performer and with an inside front row draw he could be a dark horse in the Final. Nyack ran his usual honest race for second while Attachment who worked hard early showed plenty of fight in running third. The fast last quarter made it virtually impossible for those behind to catch the leaders.
