All other breedings, including closed-book Summa Cum Laude, will be sold on a “Live Foal” basis. These include Greenshoe, JK’s EndofaneraRebuffStay Hungry, Bettor’s WishVolume Eight, and Tall Dark Stranger. Mares must be optimal breeding candidates and are subject to approval.

“The stallion auction is crucial to funding our Standardbred division,” said New Vocations founder Dot Morgan. “We are incredibly grateful to the breeders who have generously supported it over the years.”

Bettor’s Wish is standing stud at Southwind Farms in New Jersey where significant purse enhancements provide NJ bred horses with some of the richest 2-year-old racing opportunities in the region. In 2026 NJ bred pacing colts will have the opportunity to race in NJ Stake Races for $1.22 Million and pacing fillies $1.262 Million.

Additional breedings may be added to the auction through Monday (Feb. 2). Any unsold breedings and post-auction donations will be offered throughout the season.

All proceeds support the rehabilitation, transitional training, and adoption of retired Standardbred racehorses and broodmares. View breeding list: https://newvocations.org/news_detail/153
