Merrow (Chris Long) took the early lead but War Of Will (John MacDonald) was first to the quarter in :25.4.  Natameri (Jimmy Whittemore) took control heading down the backstretch.  Triple Sevens (Leon Bailey) then took his turn on the lead and led to the half in :54.4 and to three quarters in 1:22.3.

As they reached the stretch Natameri popped out of the pocket and made his bid for the lead but Boiler Maker ($25.06) came flying three-wide and just nipped second place finisher Triple Sevens to win in 1:51.3.

BOILER MAKER REPLAY

Boiler Maker is an 8-year-old gelding by Sweet Lou.  He is owned and trained by Laura Shock.  It was his third win of the season and his 33rd career victory.
