The mid-January announcement that Bettor’s Wish has been nominated for the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame’s Living Horse Hall of Fame, with formal induction set for Hall of Fame Day on July 5, 2026, adds timely momentum to his growing reputation as a sire.

Last season’s leading first-crop stallion, Bettor’s Wish will be represented by several yearlings across Australian sales this year — and the first to step into a ring will be Lot 13 at the Nutrien Tasmanian Yearling Sale on February 14.
Lot 13 – Gelding (Bettor’s Wish–Huiffier)
Offered by Melissa Maine, this gelding is out of the Rocknroll Hanover mare Huiffier, a daughter of Gorse Bush and therefore a half-sister to dual Inter Dominion champion Beautide. It is one of the most potent families in the studbook, responsible for multiple Group winner Ashkalini and Group 1 star Ignatius.
Huiffier herself has produced three foals of racing age — all winners, including the smart juvenile Shemeansbusiness, a dual winner at two last season. This youngster carries a pedigree stacked with speed and depth, and he looks every inch the type to match it.
Lot 18 – Filly (Sweet Lou–Its All Bliss)

Maine’s second offering at Quercus Park is Lot 18, a filly by last season’s leading sire Sweet Lou, from the eight-time winner Its All Bliss, who was placed at Group 2 level.
Its All Bliss is already the dam of the promising Heza Ripper, who finished in the money six times from seven starts as a two-year-old last season.
This filly also hails from a family with serious international credentials. Close relatives include Pocket Of Terror, winner of an Inter Dominion Consolation and 45 races overall — 20 of them in North America — and the prolific Iam Mr Brightside, who has amassed 41 wins in the USA to complement his 22 victories before export.
The Tasmanian Yearling Sale begins at 2:00pm on February 14, preceded by the parade at noon. Catalogues, including live pedigree updates, are available via Nutrien Live – Online Catalogue.
