CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Veteran pacer Bee Two Bee (Sunshine Beach) continued to dominate on the final day of the winter meet for his seventh straight Saturday afternoon at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The Sunshine Beach stallion went to front in the $5,100 preferred pace and led to a 1:55.2 victory with Jason Hughes in the bike for trainer Ashley Gamester and owners Blair MacLauchlan and Donald MacRae. The victory was the seventh straight for Bee Two Bee ($2.10) as he defeated pocket-sitter Malignity (Driven by Paul Langille) with TH Boomtown (Gilles Barrieau) third.

Hughes and Gamester also won race 9 with Laughagain Hanover ($5.70) in 2:01.2.

The Sports Desk ($3.20) fended off Doctor Grenfell (Ken Murphy) in the final dash of the winter meet with a 1:59.2 win from the Ron Matheson barn in race 12.

Blood Money ($2.50) was another Matheson trained winner in 1:57.3 in race 5 for the double. Barrieau made three trips to the winner’s circle as Buddysnvirgins ($7.50) won race 1 from the Darrell Neill barn in 2:00.3 and Mimosa On The Key ($4.20) in 2:02.2 for trainer Mike Dowling.

Sweet Molly ($3.70) won race 10 as part of a Jennifer Doyle triple. Drew Campbell was in the seat while Murphy drove another pair of Doyle winners in Shake N Blake ($14.30) in 1:58.2 and Tenacious Ted ($3.50) in 2:00.2.
