DAYTON, OH – For the second straight week, Dojea Gizmo was impressive in winning the Open Pace in 1:50.4 on closing day at Hollywood Dayton.

Harness racing driver Trevor Smith secured a two-hole trip for the four-year-old son of Tellitlikeitis (Dan Noble), who hit the quarter beam in :26.3 and then tapped the brakes to the :56.2 halfway juncture.

Heavily favored Sectionline Bigry (Brett Miller) came to call during the speedy :26.2 third quarter to take command around the final turn.  But Dojea Gizmo was patiently sitting in the pocket, waiting for Sectionline Bigry to tire, and when he finally softened, the winner pounced to take the lead and lengthen it through the stretch.

Sectionline Bigry did hang on for second while GD Western Joe (Chris Page) rode the pylons to secure a third place finish.
