Anaffairtoremember takes Meadows feature

WASHINGTON, PA, May 17, 2016 — Anaffairtoremember powered to the lead and easily dispatched her challengers to capture Tuesday's $15,000 Filly & Mare Winners Over $10,000 Life Trot at The Meadows.

Aaron Merriman sent Anaffairtoremember from post 5 to the point, where she carved out a reasonable 57.3 half. The 6-year-old daughter of Angus Hall-Val Lee Woman parried the first-over thrust of UF Lindsay Lou Who and went on to score in 1:54.3.

She Wore Red shot the Lightning Lane for second, 2-3/4 lengths back, while the pocket-sitting Bessie was third. Bill Bercury owns and trains Anaffairtoremember, who extended her career bankroll to $455,719.

Tony Hall piloted six winners on the 14-race card.
