War Of Will (Leon Bailey) led to the quarter in :28.0.  He used a :29.2 second quarter to be first to the half in :57.2.  He continued to control things to three-quarters in 1:25.2.

As they made the turn for home Syracuse Express (John MacDonald) popped the pocket as Le Massif ($44.00) came three-wide.  Second place finisher Syracuse Express took a slight lead but Le Massif came flying by to win in 1:54.1.  War Of Will had to settle for third money.

Le Massif is a 5-year-old horse.  He is owned by Laurent Pednault and trainer Melanie Boulianne.  It was his fifth win in 2024.  He now has 13 career victories.
