T'WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS
It was the night before Christmas
And all thru the house
Not a creature was stirring
Except my PC mouse.
The stockings were hung from
the chimney front with care
I just knew old Saint Nick
Would eventually get here.
I worked into the night
Adding dates left and right
There were so many changes
I felt I had lost the fight!
When out on the street
There was so much clatter
I jumped up from my chair
To see what was the matter.
And what to my bleary eyes did appear
But old Santa himself driving
many past horses of the year.
He was dressed in his silks all ready to go
And the horses were prancing and up on their toes.
He called them by name as he wheeled them about
And the names that he called were amazing, no doubt.
There was Delmonica and Bret
At the front of the pack,
Niatross and Moni weren't too far back
I saw Fresh Yankee and Fan, Cam Fella and Mack
Albatross and Abercrombie rounded out the pack.
I heard old Santa say as he drove them away….
I'm off to the races for a big payday!!
Merry Christmas, HO HO HO
