Hoosier to host Breeders Crown reception

WHAT: Hoosier Park Racing & Casino is hosting a 'Breeders Crown Community Kickoff Reception' and Informational Session on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 for the 34th edition of the harness racing Breeders Crown.

The Breeders Crown is harness racing's annual series of 12 champion events valued at $6 million. The Breeders Crown is returning to the Midwest for first time in three decades, and for the very first time in Indiana at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28. This year will be the 34th edition of the championship.

WHEN: The event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. with live racing to follow at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Hoosier Park Racing & Casino's Dan Patch Brewhouse

WHO: Area hotel staff, visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce, media and community leaders are invited to attend this reception and informational session.
