Canterbury pacer Pinseeker (Downbytheseaside) lines up in a ten horse field at Menangle tomorrow on his quest to gain a spot in March’s $1,000,000 Miracle Mile.

This will be the second campaign Pinseeker has undertaken in Australia.
He was there for a three race Interdominion campaign starting in June. He won first up in Menangle over a mile before he ran second to Leap To Fame in the first round of Interdominions heats at Albion Park.
In the second round of heats he was caught three wide and over raced before he was retired from the race.
“I think he’s grown up since then and I’ve been happy with the way he’s handled short course racing in the five races he’s had,” trainer Jonny Cox said.
In the gelding’s last race, at Addington six days ago, he finished second to Franco Sinatra.
“You always like to win. But running second behind Carter’s horse (Franco Sinatra) was a win for me because he settled in the trail.”
Once safely through Saturday’s race the gelding will contest a $75,000 Miracle Mile qualifying heat at Menangle on the 7th March.
“I didn’t want to go to Newcastle which is an automatic qualifier. We’ll miss a week, then go through the qualifier.”
Pinseeker is stabled with Luke McCarthy and Cox travels to Sydney tomorrow.
The Miracle Mile will be run on 14th March.
