So Vogue makes it four straight at Globe Derby

So Vogue’s outstanding 2026 campaign rolled on at Globe Derby Park on Saturday night, the daughter of Love You chalking up her fourth consecutive harness racing victory.

The seven-year-old has been in superb touch this season, producing four wins, two seconds and a fourth from just seven starts.

After recording her previous three victories from behind the mobile, trainer-driver Ryan Hryhorec opted to return to a standing start on Saturday night — despite the mare’s past issues from the tapes. Any concerns were quickly eased when So Vogue stepped safely from the outside of the front line and settled in fourth. Hryhorec improved to the one-one position after the first lap and, when he released the brakes at the 600 metres, the response was immediate.

So Vogue burst clear to score eased down by 21.4 metres, underlining her dominance.

Bred and raced by New South Welshman Michael Taylor, So Vogue has been a terrific performer for her connections. She began her career in Victoria before heading to New South Wales, where she captured a heat of the 2YO Foundation Trot and finished a narrow second in the final. Since relocating to South Australia in late 2022, she has compiled an impressive 23 career wins.

SO VOUGUE REPLAY

So Vogue is out of the 14-win mare Brylin Crescent, whose highlights included victory in the Breed For Speed Silver Final at Melton Entertainment Park. Brylin Crescent has also left 11-time winner Muscle Miss and Down South Daisy, a dual winner and runner-up in the QBred 3YO Final.

The family depth extends further through the Sundon mare Another Starlet, dam of New Zealand Derby and Jewels winner Enghien (16 wins, $407,424) and 18-race winner Millburn Michael. Deeper again in the pedigree sits Jazz Legend, a 22-race winner whose résumé includes a Group 2 consolation of the 2008 Inter Dominion.

When her racing days conclude, So Vogue will represent a valuable addition to Michael Taylor’s broodmare band — a quality racemare with a pedigree to match.
