Harness racing hits Oamaru again today with 10 races on the card. The racing starts at 1:35pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Kensington Mike (5) Raced against some nice 2yo’s last campaign and should go close to winning this
Twice The Charm (2) Nice draw will help and should begin quickly. Stable respect and needed here
Easy Art (1) Getting better with racing and gets the best draw. Place chance with a nice trail in the race

Race 2

Heza Cool Dude (1) Much better last start and easier here. Looks a good each way chance from the ace
What’s The Whisper (6) Racing well and home track advantage. Should give a good sight. Needed
Lorde Franco (8) Improver from her last start and weaker field. Top three chance at longer odds. Bolter

Race 3

Midnight Sophia (1) In great form and drawn best over the sprint. Good run expected. Go again here
Major Miss (10) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Top driver booked
Miss Woodville (3) Good effort last start and ok draw. Can sneak into the top three with luck in running

Race 4

Jukebox Gypsy (1) Has gate speed and best draw for some time. Should give a good account at short odds
Foveaux Gambler (5) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds. Key driver change here
Playing With Stars (3) Solid fourth last start and a winning chance from the draw. One for longer odds

Race 5

He Aint Fakin (3) Big motor but has been lacking manners. Top selection and can win with a clean start
Majesdix (6) Racing in good form and well placed here. Normally a fast beginner. Good each way chance
Petite Trixton (9) Hardly ever out of the placings but wide draw. Top three claims with luck in transit

Race 6

Lonnekers (9) In winning form but up in grade. Driver change and will need luck but has to be included
Ukraine (3) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance from a nice draw. Needed
Classie Linc (10) Gets into a winnable race but tricky handicap to overcome. Will be running on late here

Race 7

Dont Look Kobe (7) Galloped last start but previous form was good. Hard to beat here with manners
Birstall Babe (2) Should get a soft run handy. Nice win last start and should handle the rise in grade ok
My Bonnie Lass (10) Finally got a well deserved win after some nice trials. Driver change and has claims

Race 8

Southside Of Heaven (5) Change of driver for this and is fast when right. Wide draw but can go close
Rightazz (1) Decent motor and a drawn well.  Change of trainer afer last start win. One of the better chances
Munroe’s Mate (7) Disappointing last start but back on grit and will be put in the race at some stage.

Race 9

Kracka Looka (2) Will be running on here after some nice placings in recent starts. Top selection in this
Barrytown (8) Decent motor and races well on the track. One of the better chances and is in form. Include
Torquay Street (6) Only fair last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here at longer odds

Race 10

Ninth Wave Arden (9) Nice win last start and cosy pegs run likely. Looks a good bet and can win again
Ultimate Perfection (2) Nice draw and at his best would be a place hope in this. Has to be respected
Treasure Cove (1) Out of form but has a reputation and could surprise from the ace draw back on grit
