Jaguar du Fan scores in Gr III Grand Prix de l’Hippodrome de Catelaillon

Chatelaillon -La Rochelle hosted today’s featured Grand Prix de L’Hippodrome de Chatelaillon (Gr III,  purse 62,000€, 2600 meters distance handicap,11 starters ages 6-10) with the 1.12.3kr timed victory earned by 43/1 odds Jaguar du Fan (6g Diablo du Noyer-Radieuse du Fan).

Olivier Raffin teamed the C.A. Mary trainee for owner Gilles  Berthault as he won for the seventh time in 36 career starts for 196,795€ earned. Ino du Lupin (7g Scipion du Goutier-Tina d’Hermes) overcame a 50meter handicap to earn second at 4/1odds with Antoine Wiels handling the reins for  trainer/owner/breeder J.P. Marmion. Third to the line was 45/1odds and 25 meter handicapped Imperator d’Ela (7g Carat Williams-Reville) reined by Anthony Barrier for owner Herve Guerin and conditioner Matthieu Varin.  The even money favorite Ideal des Castelle (7g Charly du Noyer-Villa Castelle) finished fourth driven by Eric Raffin for trainer Alain Chavatte and owner Christian Berquier.
