Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:39pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Santapazienza (7) Tough trip last start and well placed here. Better run expected in this
Maro Mackendon (5) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Stable respect. Needed
Niamh (4) Getting better with racing and opened over the odds. Place chance again here

Race 2

Stash The Cash (1) Off the front and consistently in the placings. Has to be included in this
Play Fast And Loose (2) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Needed
Mum’s Angel (5) On debut but well bred and worth a second look in this field. Top three 

Race 3

Sugar Ray Lincoln (2) Better form building up now and should be thereabouts again. Can place
You Little Beauty (5) Ok last start and can do some work mid race. Chance with a good trip
Hooray Henry (6) Good effort last start and can sneak into the top three with luck . In the mix

Race 4

Confederate (4) Unlucky last start and a winning chance from the draw. One of the better chances
Turn O The Tide (6) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account again
Final Change (8) Tidy win at long odds lasts start. Can repeat with the same run but wide draw

Race 5

Pretty In Pink (3) Fought on last start in a weaker field. Top selection in this from the draw
Pantani (8) Looked back to his best last start. Good each way chance with any luck in transit
Bravehearthighlander (9) Will be fitter after last start. Draw suits and will be running on

Race 6

Bruntwood Brigade (4) Good against a similar field last start. Hard to beat against this lot
The Night Agent (2) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims from the draw. Include
Seaside Boss (3) Up in grade but can handle the rise in class. Should give a good account

Race 7

Faith In Manchester (4) Small field will help. Will need manners but winning claims if she leads
Courmayeur (2) Manners needed but has the speed to go close with a good trip. Winning claims
American Muscle (3) Out of form but should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance

Race 8

Princess Gracy (3) Ok last start but has improved according to Zachary. Good draw and can win
Always B Magic (2) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Upset claims at longer odds here
Im Sandra Dee (6) Consistent placings recently. Will continue to improve and place hopes again here

Race 9

Sweet Dior (1) Change of stable and good chance from the inside draw. Worth putting in all combos
Just Us Two (3) Decent motor and stable respect. One of the better chances and tidy recent trial
Captain Moonlight (5) Hasn’t lived up to his good reputation. Will continue to improve and can win
