Huntress A Harrington Winner

HARRINGTON, DE – Manklin Creek’s Huntress ($3.80, Allan Davis) won her Harrington Raceway debut Tuesday with a 1:53 triumph over a wet racetrack. Huntress assumed command from early leader Jett Propelled at the quarter mile mark in 27.4 seconds. The field of six marched to the half with Disturbed Hanover and Incaseyoudidntknow heading up the outer flow in 56.1 and 1:24.3. Huntress maintained a comfortable advantage under confident handling from Davis en route to her 7th win of the season. Trained by Eric Ell, the Huntsville 6-year-old mare notched her 44th lifetime win. Jett Propelled was runner-up with Incaseyoudidntknow third. Huntress was making her first start for the Ell barn, as the well-traveled mare has had stints in PA, NY and Indiana recently. Jason Green had a driving triple. Pat Berry, Corey Callahan, Barton Dalious, and Art Stafford Jr. each had a driving double.
