Trainer John Mongeon recorded a training double on Thursday at the harness racing meeting at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

The veteran conditioner scored a victory in the twilight racing card's opener with pacer Anything I Want (Yankee Skyscraper) and followed up it with a win from local first timer Thisisakillerdream (If I Can Dream).

In his first start at the Spa under the guidance of Mongeon, Thisisakillerdream cruised out to the front end for leading driver Frank Coppola Jr. and had little difficulty living up to the hype at odds of 1-5.

The three year old pacer came to town after racing in Delaware for his first nine career starts, hitting the board in five of them

. The local debut of Thisisakillerdream resulted in his maiden win as he drew away to prevail by three and a half lengths in 1:58.2.

Bruce Aldrich Jr, who piloted Anything I Want to her Thursday score, had four winners on the card.

Live racing continues on Friday at Saratoga with a first post time set for 6:45pm.
