La Yuca wins Gr. I National Mares Championship

La Yuca (4f Face Time Bourbon-Komigen Pippi=Viking Kronos) rallied three wide in the final bend and into the lane to capture the  Gr. I National Stochmapionatet (purse to winner 1,200,000SEK, 2640 meters autostart, 12 starters four year old mares) at Axevalla.

She was timed in 1.12.9kr and was the 1.83/1 odds favorite from post five. Orjan Kihlstrom teamed the Daniel Reden trainee for owner/breeder Eadles Rising AB. The winner now has four 2025 wins in seven starts and is nine for 18 for the career that shows 3,864,000SEK earned.

The 17.5/1 odds Screen  Time Limit (4f Face Time Bourbon-Metior Easy-Quite Easy) was second for trainer/driver Daniel Wajersten followed by 6/1 SG Empress (4f Readly Express-Riva del Sole-Gentle Star_ with Rikard N. Skoglund aboard for conditioner Roger Walmann.
