A top card today at Enghien-Soisy began  with two year olds competing in the Prix de la Porte des Lilas (purse 33,000€, 2250 meters volstart, nine two year old  filly starters) and the 5/10 odds favorite Nouba du Bas Bosq (2f Galius-Turquoise de Ry-Carpe Diem)  remained undefeated with this his second harness racing victory timed in 1.16.8kr.

Yoann  Lebourgeois teamed the Philippe  Allaire owned and trained filly that was bred by Scea Bouty et Fils and has earned 20,025€. She is sired by the late Galius  (2016  foal by Love You-Star de Velleneuve-Jag de Bellouet) that was second in the January 2022 Prix d’Amerique after winning the Prix Tenor de Baune. He died prior to the ‘23 Amerique. 

New  Quality (2f Love You-Union Quality-Password) was  a distant second at 8.6/1 with owner/trainer Julien Dubois driving, Nepta (2f Boccador de Simm-Abdrea d’Ecajeul-Lets Go  Along) was third at 16/1 odds with  Alexis Prat aboard for owner/trainer Frederic Prat.

Aged horses were next on stage in  the  Prix  de  la Porte Montmartre (59,000€ purse,  2150 meters autostart, 15 European starters ages 7-11) with victory earned by 3.9/1 odds Iguane de  Caponet (7g Habd de Vivier-Alizea Turgot) handled for an early double by Yoann Lebourgeois for owner/trainer Cyril Raimbaud.

This winner is now 13 career wins in 33 starts for 252,930€. The 16/1 Readly Lavec (8g Bird Parker-Caddie Jasmina) was second for driver/trainer Oskar J. Andersson and owner Easy KB, followed by 3.9/1 odds Carloforte Font (7m Django Riff-Rapsodia Gams) with Jaap Van Rijn driving for trainer Jeroen Engwerda and owner Pascal Van der Rasieren.

In the Gr. III Prix Henri Cravoisier  (purse 90,000€,  1609 meters  autostart, seven European starters three year old males) the 19/1 odds  upsetter Mat Manathis (3m Booster Winner-Foudre Manathis-Pagalor) rolled past the 2/10 odds favorite Ginostrabliggi (3m Muscle Hill-Gilly LB-Supergill) for the 1.10.4kr timed victory.

Alex Prat teamed and trains this three time career winner owned by Laurent Broomhead that has earned 215,230€. Ginostrabliggi,  owned and  trained  by Philippe Allaire and handled by  Gabriele  Gelormini has now lost both his invasions outside of Italy, the first one in Stockholm’s Breeders Cup. He has earned 373,210€ including Italian earnings from eight wins in as many starts. Today he was rank and difficult to control in the early stages. Home third  today  was  11/1 odds Monzon Normand (3m Hohneck-Cingala) with Yoann Leborgeois driving for Allaire the owner/trainer.  Misty Green (3f Love You-Greenpeace) at 15/1  was  fourth for Eric Raffin, William Bigeon (trainer) and Joel Seche  (owner).

In the Gr. III Prix de Milan (purse 90,000€, 2150 meters autostart, 10 European starters age four open) the 2.5/1 odds  second choice Frank Gio (4m Face Time Bourbon-Zarina Gio) held gamely on the lead to score timed in 1.12.3kr.

Mathieu Abrivard teamed the Sebastien Guarato trainee thst Scuderia  Bivans  Srl owns. Frank Gio now owns  eight career victories in 12 starts for 787,900€ earned. The 105/1 odds Loulou de Mye (4m Clif de Pommereux-Arista de Mye) was second driven by R.C. Larue who also trains for Ecurie des Mont Joly. London (4f Rockfeller Center-Tilda) captured third at 8.2/1 odds for trainer/driver Matthieu Mottier and owner/breeder Danielle Mottier.

Learn To Pay (4m Uriel  Speed-Santanna Girl) was fourth for Paul Philippe Ploqion at 17/1  and 1.2/1 odds favorite Lovino Bello (4m Village Mystic-Louvina Bella) was fifth driven by Eric Raffin. Light My Fire (4m Ready Cash) was sixth at 24/1 driven by Franck Nivard.
