Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with 10 races on the card. The racing starts at 11:35am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R1   Mandala

Best Value:  R6   Mouton Cadet

Race 1

Mandala (2) Canterbury visitor who should run top three in this. Stable respect. Needed here
Sargent Best (4) Best draw for some time and should begin quickly. Could upset with the right trip
Bombay Glacier (10) Getting better with racing and bad draw the only concern. Place chance

Race 2

Ten Da Touch (3) Likely leader in this and good second last start. Form suggests has to be included
Havarti Arden (7) Wider draw and needs everything to go her way but still a top three hope in this
Tashs Bad Girl (4) Improver from her last start and weaker field. Top three chance with luck here

Race 3

Prosperity (8) Tricky draw but no doubting the ability. Good run expected and small field helps
Share A Dream (1) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Include
Miki Cohen (5) Freshened slightly and can sneak into the top three with luck in the running

Race 4

He’s No Romeo (1) Stable change and comes up with a good draw. One for longer odds in this
Major Burns  (9) Follows the pegs and should give a good account with any gaps in the run home
Ultimate Gladiator (5) Out of form but Canterbury visitor with top driver booked. Go again

Race 5

To The Moon And Back (7) Off the unruly for this and big motor. Top selection in this. Can win
Penelope Lane (9) Tidy win last start and well placed here. Good each way chance again
Muscle Mist (13) Will be fitter after last start error. Tricky draw but good enough to go close

Race 6

Mouton Cadet (5) Has not had a lot of luck but notable driver change. Hard to beat against these
Jenny Gump (2) Should get a soft run handy. Top three claims at longer from the draw. Include
Goorambat Art (3) Racing well and might go forward early. Place hope with the right trip

Race 7

Spells Of Love (6) Gets a head start on main rivals. Will need manners but can go back to back
Gift Card (5) Normally a good beginner and should go close to placing in this. One for longer odds
Emily (3) In good form and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance again here

Race 8

Duchess Of Kent (6) Form horse in the field and will head forward. Wider draw but can win again
Joyride(AUS) (7) Decent motor and has raced better fields. One of the better chances in this. Include
Just Like Jagger (9) Unlucky last start. Will continue to improve and place hope here at good odds

Race 9

Always Be Bootie (1) Draws a good spot and looks ready to win again. One of the better chances
Indiana Arden (2) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Top driver sticks with and can run a place
Ask Me Lazarus (4) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope at big odds

Race 10

Remission (1) Drawn the ace here and looks a good bet from there. Has to be hard to beat in this
Haley Jaccka (4) Ok draw and better than most in this field. Needs a good trip but win hope here
Sky Rocket (9) Stable change and soft run on the pegs is likely. Could surprise at longer odds
