Swan Flyer led through fractions of 28.2, 57.3 and 1:26.1 before some live outer flow developed with Speed Away fanning 3-wide in the stretch and hitting the wire first over Swan Flyer and Lizzy Lauxmont. It was his 5th win of the season, all at Harrington, for trainer Nick Callahan. In six starts at the meet, he has 5 wins and 1 second place finish. All 7 of his wins in 2024, also came at Harrington. Corey Callahan had a driving triple on the card.

SPEED AWAY REPLAY

Live racing will now go on a customary summer hiatus before a brief break with a night of racing during the Delaware State Fair on July 17 (post time 5 p.m.) featuring more than $600,000 in total purses, highlighted by the $110,000 finals for the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund 3-year-olds, in addition to longstanding races for older horses like the Governor’s Cup, Charles Murphy Memorial Trot and Legislators’ Cup.
