May 8, 2015 – Kincsem Park (Budapest) continues its positive changes begun over a year ago with a new pari-mutuel partner and expanded harness racing simulcasting.
Now KP has begun Friday night live racing with both trots and gallop over its multiple surfaces at this modern European designed racetrack.
The initial Friday night card was May 8, the first of eight such programs. The program included two 1800 meter autostart trots and a 200 meter trotting super sprint. The 1800 meter test winners were Andorra Gold (7f Andover Hall-Olympics) for trainer driver Csaba Lakatos timed in 1.19kr in the Templar Handicap and Dejavu MS (6m Coktail Jet-Diva MS) for trainer/driver Mitja Slavic in the Eperjes DIJ.
KP also has planned a culinary festival during the summer and a fall wine festival to attract more and varied fans to the racing venue. The track and PM partner have also improved its racing program and simulcast menu. See below links.
