Filwell wins Gr. III Prix Paul Delanoe

Pierre Levesque’s Filwell  (10g Qwerty-Regence-Insert Gede) off at 6.2/1 odds rallied between horses to take the Gr. III monte Prix Paul Delanoe (purse 90,000€, 2175 meters voltstart, nine European harness racing starters ages 6-11) timed in a quick 1.10,5kr.

Adrien Lamy was the winning jockey for trainer/owner/breeder Pierre Levesque. Filwell now has 22 career wins in 83 starts for 821,860€. The 19/1 Invictus Madiba (7m Booster Winner-Batignoles) was second in a pack with jockey Alexis Collette aboard for Ecurie Hunter Valley and trainer Bastien Michardiere. Grindelwald (9f Rieussec) was third at 19.1 odds with Alexandre Abrivard the jockey and 52/1 odds Good Girl Marceaux (9f Jag de Bellouet) was fourth for jockey Francois Lagadeuc.

On the undercard the Prix Minerva (purse 46,000€, 2175 meters, 11 four year old starters) went to 3.6/1 odds Lovebird (4m Royal Dream-Electra Green-Texas Charm) handled by Gabriele Gelormini to his third career victory for 61,680€.

Ecurie Victoria Dreams owns the winner that Jean Philippe Dubois bred and trains. He was timed in 1.13.1kr to defeat 5.7/1 odds Lugano de Lou (4m Up And Quick) reined by Alexandre Abrivard for Ecurie Augustin-Normand and conditioner L.C. Abrivard. Third was 20/1 Lorigne (4g Gu d’Heripre) for Cedirc Terry and 12/1 odds Le Bolide (4g Desir Castelets) was fourth for Alexis Marie.
