Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 7 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:34pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R3   Pukunui Beach

Best Value:  R1   Westar Milly

Race 1

Westar Milly (6) Up from the south and should do a good job. Can run top three with manners
Kawarau Lil (5) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Likes the track and good chance
Ordained (1) Getting better with racing and draw helps. Place chance with no mistakes early

Race 2

Ohoka Achilles (1) Ideal draw and easier here. Can run time and has to be included in this field
Billy The Kid (2) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. One of the main hopes
Secrets Abound (6) Improver from her last start but will need luck. Top three claims here

Race 3

Pukunui Beach (3) A a big reputation and might start a short favourite. Good run expected
Rhinestone (2) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Needed
Moenui Miss (1) Good effort last start and nice draw. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Won And Only (3) Has been disappointing but due to strike form. Give another chance here
Benson Dude (2) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account again
Captain Zenzi (1) Running into form and an improver with a place chance at longer odds here

Race 5

Ruby Ridge (9) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Top selection in this from a tricky handicap
Makaku (5) Change of trainer for this and he does have some speed. Has claims with early manners
Highview Rockn Roll (1) Will be fitter after last start. Nice draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

C U There (5) Has raced well against some stronger fields than what he meets here. Hard to beat
Run Mason Run (2) Should get a soft run handy. Top three claims from the draw. Include here
Lewey Maguire (6) Tricky draw but nice win last start. Driver change for this and can go close

Race 7

Saxon Reigns (3) Plenty of speed once underway. Will need manners but could surprise here
All Muscled Up (6) Tricky handicap but should go close to placing in this. Good run last start
Stash The Cash (1) In good form and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance
