Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 7 races on the card . The racing starts at 5:27pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Eagle Hanover (4) Running on here last start. Fitter and can run top three again with luck here
Val Thorens (8) Stable respect and strikes a weaker field. Only needs manners to be a major threat
All Muscled Up (11) Getting better with racing and likely to be put in the race early. Winning claims

Race 2

Medina Magic (1) Big drop in class and conditions suit here. Has to be included from the ace draw
Midfrew Lucre (6) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and goes well in amateur races. Include
Lukaku (4) Improver from his last start and fast enough to be a good top three chance here.

Race 3

Mike Ross (1) Has been racing tougher fields and draw suits. Good run expected. Top selection
Caulfield (8) Ok last start when fresh but tricky draw. Can place with a good run in transit. Needed
Dixieland Delight (5) Good effort last start and track suits. Can sneak into the top three here

Race 4

Mazeppa (10) Solid run of wins and extra distance suits. Tricky handicap but can over come it.
Liaison (7) Has been disappointing in recent starts but due to strike form. Should give a good account
Ruby Ridge (8) In good form and races well on the course. Winning claims with any improvement

Race 5

Tweedy (5) Has been racing well in similar fields and looks a good bet in this. Top selection here
Hearts N Aces (3) Had excuses last start with no room late. Good each way chance with clear air
Star Of Auckland (2) Older mare on debut from good stable so must have ability. Include here

Race 6

Mhai Surfer Girl (7) Tricky draw but looks well placed in this field. Will be running on here. Needed
St John Eight (2) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Up in grade but worth including in combos
Beta Prepare (3) Not far away last start. Continues to race well and has early speed. In the mix

Race 7

Flying Dragon (4) Has been good at trials and stable respect. Can go close with a good trip here
Aquila (6) Battled on ok last start and fitter now. Can go close to running top three in this
Always B An Angel (3) Honest run last start and only needs a similar effort to place here. Top three
