Je Reve du Bois wins Prix Confrerie de Nogent

Matthieu Abrivard piloted 2.4/1 odds co-favorite Je Reve du Bois (6g Reve de Beylev-Ballerine du Bois) to harness racing victory in the  Paris-Vincennes featured Prix Confrerie de Nogent (purse 68,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 11 European starters ages 6-11) for trainer C.M. Bruneau. Vincent Marc Martin owns the now nine time career winner of 279,815€ that scored in a sharp 1.10.4kr.

The 2.5/1 odds Enjoy The Game (9m ENS Snapshot-True Vallee) was second for Gabriele Gelormini driving for H.E. Bondo training for Baltic Stable. Jolie Surprise (6f Prodigious-Discovery Bond) took third at 2.4/1 co-favorite odds with Eric Raffin aboard for trainer/owner Julien Dubois. Ninepoints Lasse (7g Uncle Lasse-Ninepoints Lucy) was three lengths back fourth at 2.5/1 with Alexandre Abrivard handling the Jorgen Westholm trainee that Bengt Johansson owns.

Charmy Charly As (7g Charly du Noyer-Xea Venus) was home fifth at 13/1 for driver Benjamin Rochard, trainer Bondo and Stall A&S 2003.

On the same card was the Prix  Ara (purse 41,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 14 European five year old  starters) and Italy prevailed again as 8.3/1 odds Etranger Joyeuse (5g Traders-Northern Jewel) scored easily in 1.11.8kr for trainer/driver Andrea Guzzinati and owner Scuderia Del Castello SNC.

This was his second win in  four starts  in France for career earnings of 73,026€. The 1.6/1 odds  favorite Trogir (5g Love You-Likasi) was next with Michael Ninczyk driving for trainer Wolfgang Nimczyk and owner Ulrich Mommert. Easy Company (5g Bird Parker-Reve d’Amour) was third at 25/1 with Francois Lagadeuc up for trainer Mike Lenders.

In the STL Gold HKH Prins Daniels (Gr. II International, 1609 meters autostart, 400,000SEK to winner,10  starters) on May 17 at Gavle the 22.6/1 odds Global Etalon (5m Brillantissime-Devilish Yankee Glide) rallied to score on the line timed in 1.10.5kr.

He raced third on the pegs before escaping in the lane with Bjorn Goop driving for Fredrik  Wallin that trains and owns the eight time winner in 32 career starts. The 8.05/1 Kentucky River (7m Father Patrick-Flicka River-Ready Cash) took second for  driver Rikard N. Skoglund and conditioner Daniel  Reden for JimMit AB. Third was 1.81/odds favorite Double Deceiver (6g Cantab Hall-Sarcy-Donato Hanover) also trainer by Reden/Stall Zet and reined by Orjan Kihlstrom.
