Harness racing hits Addington again today with 7 races on the card . The racing starts at 4:20pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Bet:  R3   Festus Haggen

Best Value:  R4   Ultimate Perfection

Race 1

Destiny Dance (7) Has raced well in better grades and small field will help. Can run top three
Foveaux Gambler (4) Back in class and has beaten similar fields in the past. Has to be included
Kowhai Nugget (3) Getting better with racing and driver respect in this. Winning claims here

Race 2

Bonjour Paris (2) Has always had the motor but manners not great. Can win with no mistakes
Tioga Pass (3) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Top driver sticks with
Starstruck (6) Improver from her last campaign and weaker field. Hard to beat with manners

Race 3

Festus Haggen (2) Normally a quick beginner and looks a good bet in this. Top selection here
Ultimate Counsel (5) Ok last start and a threat to these with a good run in transit. Needed
Super Fund (4) Solid effort last start and stand suits. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Ultimate Perfection (13) Tricky draw but trainer change and could be over the odds here. Include
Fear Gogh (10) Freshened and gets a soft pegs run here. Place hope at longer odds with gaps
Speed Writer (4) Out of form but an improver with a top three chance with a good run in transit.

Race 5

Betterwithbling (6) Keeps getting horror runs in transit. Win chance with a better trip. Include
Vrilo (4) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Has gate speed and good each way chance
Wind In The Wire (8) Will be fitter after last start fifth. Should be running on late here. Needed

Race 6

Monarch Prince (1) Good against a similar field here last start. Hard to beat again from the draw
Waihemo Hannah (2) Should get a soft run handy. In good form and winning claims.. Include
Cappaha (5) Due to show form and normally a good beginner. One for longer odds in this

Race 7

Ivona Dadic (1) Gets a head start on the favourite and best draw for some time. Hard to beat here
Franco Elvis (5) In form but wider draw for this. Should go close to top three with a soft trip. Needed
Sweet Dreams (4) Nearing form again and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance
