Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with 11 races on the card . The racing starts at 11:43am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Double Quick (9) Finished ok last start and pegs draw will help. One of the better chances in this field
Claasee (1) Ace draw will help and should begin quickly. Will appreciate the shorter distance here. Include
Okiwi Bay (5) Canterbury horses do well here and she has speed. Mixing her form but can run top three

Race 2

Nubliah Chamay (3) Quick beginner who will be first away here. In good from and top selection in this
La Dama (9) Tough win last start but this is harder. Top driver sticks with and can go close with manners
Jordan Anne (6) Improver from her last start third and weaker field here. Should give a good account

Race 3

Mr President (3) Has not had much luck but drawn well and driver change for this. Better run expected
Ward Lamon (2) Ok last start and a threat to these with a good run in transit. Will be running on late
Harold Hanover (1) Good effort last start and same draw. Can sneak into the top three if the pace is on

Race 4

Julie Jaccka (5) Solid win last start and going for three in a row.  Hard to beat and should go close here
Practical Magic (1) Has early speed and goes well the track. If he gets the right trip will be a win chance
Jimmy Carter (9) Needs to step cleanly to be any show but has a big motor. Small field will help him here

Race 5

Who’s Ya Daddy (6) Fought on last start in a similar field. Should run first or second with manners early
Brewster Baker (5) Good win last start and well placed here. Can go back to back and is hard to beat
Duchess Maria (2) Trial form is good but tough field to debut in. Ok draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

Jumal (6) Looks very hard to hold out here after dominating most of these last start. Should be winning
Patriarch (4) Slightly unlucky last start and has trialed well. Top three claims from the draw. Needed
Freeze Frame (7) Consistent and should give a good account again here. Can run top three with luck

Race 7

Utah Jazz (7) Wide draw but unbeaten and keeps stepping up. Hardest test to date but is a winning chance
Captains Mistress (10) Has placed in the best company and should get a run through early. Winning claims
Delightful Peg (1) Should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance at longer odds if the pace is on

Race 8

Secret Agent Man (10) Fastest horse in the field and will be running on. Held in high regard and can go close
Seaside Rose (8) Wide draw the only concern. One of the better chances and she will race handy to the speed
Louies Girl (7) Ran on ok last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here. Wide draw hurts

Race 9

Five Crowns (1) Gets a good draw and had excuses last start. Top driver on board and looks hard to beat here
C C Arden (5) Wider draw but stable respect and his run two starts ago was good. Could surprise with a good trip
Always Dreaming (10) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope here. Put in combos

Race 10

Double Jeopardy (4) Has raced well in similar fields. Drawn ok here and looks a good bet. Just needs manners
Betterthancash (6) Tricky handicap but better than most in this field. Good win against a similar field last start
American Me (8) Top driver booked and he can step quickly and can do some work mid race. Could surprise

Race 11

Magnetic Beckers (5) Track suits and driver change for this. Can go close here with a good run in transit. Include
Airwaves (3) Gate speed and the likely early leader for this. Will stick on for a long way here. In the mix at odds
Slots (2) Likely to race close to the speed here. One of the better chances from a strike rate Canterbury stable
