The 7-year-old Father Patrick gelding charged hard through the stretch to grab the lead and pull away from Renegade Gypsy and Vlahos for his 18th career win for trainer team Callahan. Speed Away relished the Harrington track last year, with all 7 of his wins coming over the half-mile oval. It was a big night for the Callahans, who won 3 races on the card, including Star Razor ($4) and Going Platinum ($2.60). Two of the winners were owned by Breakaway Racing. All 3 winners driven by Corey Callahan.

It was one of 3 wins on the card for Poliseno. Trainer/driver Ross Shand had a pair of wins from his stable.
