Harness racing hits Addington again today with 8 races on the card . The racing starts at 4:31pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Off The Edge (8) Can run time and wide draw the only concern. Should run top three with luck
Franco Hoffman (7) Leading driver on board and stable respect. At his best would go close here.
Onwardsandupwards (5) Getting better with racing and draws inside the favourites. Place chance

Race 2

Aldebaran Crystal (6) Manners needed but good enough to win with no mistakes. Has to be included
Five Monkeys (4) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Good winning claims
Meandad (2) Improver from his last start and weaker field here. Top three chance from the draw

Race 3

Lord Mudrick (2) Lobs up now and then with a good effort. Freshened and better run expected here
Millwood Goddess (5) Ok last start and a threat to these with a good run in transit. Winning claims
Didjashoutthebar (1) Improving effort last start and better draw. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Don’t Tell Jenny (9) Wide draw hurts but opened way over the odds. Her best effort would take her close
Sweet Tartan (5) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account in this field. Include
Vrilo (1) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds from the draw. Driver change here

Race 5

Shannon B (4) Stable in form and drawn ok here. Top selection in this and good each way claims. Needed
Sweet Dreams (14) Terrible draw but well placed here. Will need a cart into it but not the worst. In the mix
Chal Vee Power (7) Will be fitter after last start fifth. One for longer odds in this and might push forward

Race 6

Brianna (5) Good beginner who will race handy to the speed. Hard to beat with the right trip in this
The Bloss (4) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims from the draw and has raced better fields
Dem Bones Dem Bones (2) Due to show form and drawn well here. Should give a good account here

Race 7

Shapely (1) Has not had a lot of luck in her races. Will need manners but small field helps. Go again
Melton Enforcer (6) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this if he heads forward. Win chance
Bronski (8) Good second here two starts ago. Top three chance and will be running on late in this

Race 8

Santanna Mach (1) Most traveled horse in the field and generally steps well. Good draw and can win
Sargent Best (5) Decent motor and only needs a soft trip to figure here. One of the better chances
He’s A Bay (7) Disappointing last start. Quick beginner suited to the conditions and place hope here
