Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with six races on the card. The racing starts at 3:16pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Bet:  R5   Captain Kobe

Best Value:  R6   Leo Lincoln

Race 1

Koko Kaboom (5) Big on the first day after breaking. Should run top three with manners
Scoots (1) Small field will help and gets a big head start on his main rivals. Needed here
Boyz Invasion (3) Getting better with racing and due to show some form. Place chance

Race 2

Enzo (1) Drawn well and should get a soft trip on the fence. One of the better chances in this
Hearts N Aces (5) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Good chance
I Can Too (4) Improver from his last start and weaker field. Hard to beat if he can find the front

Race 3

Lorton Vale (1) Looked average last start but nice draw this time in. Better run expected
Robyns Art (3) Ok last start after a slow start and one for odds with a good run in transit
Victor Bravo (8) Wide draw but at his best would go close here. Can sneak into the top three

Race 4

Follow Me Fantasy (1) Solid third last start and a winning chance again from the draw. Include
Onyx Shard (6) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account here
Run Mason Run (3) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds if he leads

Race 5

Captain Kobe (1) Fought on last start and likely leader for this Top selection and hard to beat
The Night Fox (8) Had excuses last start and follows the right horse. Good each way chance
Matai Harry (7) Will be fitter after last start. Harder here but worth including in combinations. 

Race 6

Leo Lincoln (8) Good against a tougher field last start. Will need gaps but one of the better chances
Fredastaire (3) Should get a soft run handy with his gate speed. Top three chance from the draw.
Beta Prepare (2) Due to show form and drawn well here. Driver change and one for longer odds
