Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with six races on the card . The racing starts at 3:40pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Spiritinthesky (3) More consistent now and should step ok. One of the better chances in this field
The Merc (2) Has been racing better fields but manners still not 100%. Hard to beat with no errors
Tillaberi (5) Getting better with racing and only needs a quick start to be right in this. Needed

Race 2

Sweet DJ (6) Average runs lately but better than the form suggests. Track will suit and has claims
Ledger’s Maid (2) Small field will help here and has been just in behind the placings. Good chance
Diamondsonmyshoes (3) Improver from her last start and improver for this. Expect a better run

Race 3

Brookies Player (7) At his best would dominate this field. Can go close to winning at short odds
Robyns Hustler (2) A threat to the stablemate and favourite with a good run in transit. Include
Nyla (6) Normally a quick beginner. Can sneak into the top three with a trail in the race.

Race 4

Rise Up N Dance (6) Freshened and has taken on stronger fields with success. Can run top three
Huki Fella (5) Looked good last campaign and trainer change for this. Should give a sight fresh
Feta Go Fernco (2) Has the best draw and a place chance at longer odds if she steps cleanly

Race 5

Magic Sign (1) Impressive last start finishes and drawn much better. Top selection in this field
Van Liberty (2) Well placed here and coming in fresh. Good each way chance from the draw
Glenkenick (4) Has not had a lot of luck in recent runs but has speed. One for longer odds

Race 6

Markthewarrior (7) Mobile will help his chances in this. Can make mistakes but worth including
MC Squared (1) Should get a soft run handy. Could provide value to an even line up. Include
Florence The Machine (5) Due to show winning form and conditions suit. Hard to beat in this
