Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with eight races on the card . The racing starts at 4:27pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Strike It Lucky (5) Getting fitter and should give a good sight with manners. Top selection
Trippy Tyron  (4) Conditions suit and galloped first day. One for longer odds if she trots
All Muscled Up (8) Nice third first day and threat with no mistakes. Needed in combinations

Race 2

Frankie (1) Stable respect and better draw for this. Very hard to beat here from the front
Bell Fire (8) Ran on late last start and similar draw. Main danger to the favourite in this
Moenui Miss (4) Improver from her last start fourth and a good top three chance. In the mix

Race 3

Bevron  (1) Ideal draw and should race handy. Should go close to top three from the ace
Jaccka Baylis (2) Too good last start and hard to beat again with a good run in transit
Eagle Hanover (3) Good effort last start and can sneak into the top three again with luck

Race 4

Bet On Polly (2) Solid second last start and a winning chance again from the draw. Include
Adjournment (4) Has gate speed and will be improved here. Should give a good account
Jetasi (6) Getting fitter and top three chance with a good run in transit. Draw only concern

Race 5

Gotta Elect Bill (6) Not far away on first day and small field helps. Top selection in this
Rock Band (5) Starting to form back and should be thereabouts again. Place chance
Beta Prepare (2) Will be the early leader and had excuses last start. Give another chance

Race 6

Executive Banner (2) Good against a simlar field last start. Hard to beat against this lot
Benjamin Button (6) Ran on last start. Danger to the favourite with a good run in transit
Megyn Kelly (3) In form and drawn well here. Might lead and be hard to beat. Needed

Race 7

Warloch (3) Draw hurts but at his best would go close here. Can run a cheeky race
Tasi Ahnau (5) Should get a run through early. Might need luck but good chance
Caulfield (1) Has been running on in his races. Upset claims from the ace barrier draw

Race 8

Didjashoutthebar  (5) Tricky draw but unlucky on day one will be fitter here. Top selection
Onetangi Girl (2) Solid form for this and should go close to placing. Go again in same field
Eddie Osei (7) In good form and draw the only concern. Top three chance but will need luck
