Today’s Paris-Vincennes featured Prix de Senlis (purse 52,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 13 European starters ages 8-11) went to the 1.5/1 odds harness racing favorite Chitchat (8g Maharajah-Bring It On) reined by his trainer Daniel Wajersten for Stall Sofo.

This was the rallying Chitchat’s second victory in France and he know sports 163,542€ in career earnings. Driver Wajersten recorded his first win as a reinsman in France.
Finishing second was 8.5/1 odds Hiatus (8g Look de Star) with Matthieu Abrivard teaming the Bruno Bourgoin owned and trained trotteur. Haikido (8g Quick Wood) landed third at 6.6/1 odds with Franck Nivard driving.

Reven Dejava (9g Revenue) at 4/1 finished fourth ahead of 15/1 Hip Hop de Madker (8g Serano), 13/1 Harenga de Marzy (8f Alandin d’Ecajeul) and 61/1 Itit de Jobi (8g Rodrigo Jet).

Trotting also took place this day under rainy conditions at Cagnes sur Mer where driver Christophe Martens and trainer Vincent Martens won a pair and their horses took their second straight wins. In the Prix de Cazouls les Beziers (purse 29,000€, 2925 meters, 14 starters ages 5-10) the 1.1/1 odds favorite Kompany Vincent (5g Love You-Candiska Mauzun) scored in 1.14.5kr for owner Steve Farrugia and the Martens team.
The Martens team also won the Prix de Jerez de la Frontera (purse 26,000€, 2925 meters, four year olds) with 2/1 odds L’Ange Aimef (4g Brillantissime-Aviva Aimef) timed in 1.17.1kr that Philippe Waehaege owns.
This one closed stoutly along the pegs to score narrowly over the Nicolas Ensch handled and trainer Lots Of Love (4m Love You) the drifted out late in the lane.

On February 9 at Vincennes was the Gr. III Prix de Rouen (purse 90,000€, 2850 meters, 12 European starters age six) and the 12/1 odds Yahoo Diamant (6m Indigious-Glide Ship) was an impressive front end winner timed in 1.12.8kr with Yoann Lebourgeois driving.
This was his first win in France from eight starts and his career earnings advanced to 222,341€. Wolfgang Nimczyk trains the winner for Stall Express.

The German sire Indigious is a 586,895€ winning son of Prodigious from Indication by Super Arnie. Far back second was 8.8/1 Dea Print Bar (6f Muscle Hill-Lana del Rio) reined by Eric Raffin for trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro and owner Louis Baudron. Jason (6m Love You-Begum Fromentro) was third at 7.4/1 odds handled by Thomas Levesque for his father Pierre Levesque the trainer/owner/breeder of this one.
H.C.’s Crazy Horse (6g SJs Caviar) was fourth at 58/1 odds with Jongleuse (6f Cash And Go) home fifth.
