Harness racing hits Nelson again today with 10 races on the card . The racing starts at 12:23pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Racingmissgracie (2) Good beginner with conditions to suit. Should run top three here
Stunna (6) Small field will help and should begin quickly. One of the better chances
Misty Blue (4) Comes out of a stronger field on day one. Win chance if she steps cleanly

Race 2

Call Dudley (2) First day form holds up well on second day and looks the hardest to beat
Rosary (4) Better run on day one and will be fitter. Should give a good sight again here
Reindeer Trouble (8) Improver from her last start but needs to be put in the race earlier

Race 3

Light Me Up (1) Second on the first day and nice draw over the mile. Good run expected
Itsallaboutthemoney (6) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit
Lasa (4) Good effort last start and similar draw. Can sneak into the top three again with luck

Race 4

Shepherds Delight (7) Quick beginner suited by the conditions. Can lead for a long way
He’s A Bay (5) Has early speed and one for longer odds with a trail in the race. Needed
Style Council (3) Back in form and should be thereabouts again with a similar effort

Race 5

Hi Hopes (4) Fought on last start after sitting parked. Shorter distance ideal. Top selection
Social Distancing (9) Gate speed and mile distance a help. Good each way chance here
Kawactus (1) Will be fitter after last start. Trailing draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

Zsazsa Binx (1) Good against this field last start. Hard to beat against with a similar trip
Brian Beatt (5) Should get a soft run handy. Place claims if he gets to the fence in the run
Bullit Train (6) Tidy run last start and will probably start favourite here. Winning claims

Race 7

Always B You (8) Draw hurts but can do some work mid race. Can run a tidy mile in this
Follow Your Dream (4) Should get a run through early. Top driver stays with and needed
Caught The Eye (7) Wide draw but building a good form line. Up in grade but hard to beat

Race 8

Rakero Rocket (5) High speed and likely leader. Can run a fast mile from the front. Include
Xlendi (4) Beat this field over a longer distance on day one. Winning claims again in this
Built For Glory (6) Wide draw and will do more work than his rivals. Top three chance

Race 9

The Present Maker (2) Quick late finish on day one and extra distance ideal. Top selection
Ready Set Jet (11) Decent motor and easy winner on day one. One of the better chances
Tu Tangata (10) Galloped when running into it the first day. Will continue to improve here

Race 10

Radha (5) Tough second on the first day. Quick improver with winning claims here
The Mantis (1) Best draw and nice run the first day. Mile suits and has to be respected
Melody Banner (3) Can run a quick mile but still green. Win chance with no mistakes
