Hallucination extends his win streak

Claiming trotter Hallucination (Angus Hall) extended his win streak to three on Friday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway as the razor sharp gelding scored an impressive 1:57.2 victory.

After prevailing in the $5,000 claimers two weeks ago, trainer Julianna Edwards moved Hallucination up to the $7,500 claiming level and the six year old has responded.

On Friday, driver Jimmy Devaux put Hallucination on the front end and they drew away from the field around the final turn before scoring by eight and a half lengths.

The race’s favorite Our Priority (Billy Dobson) had to settle for second while V I P (Frank Coppola Jr) earned the show spot.

Hallucination, who recorded his fastest victory last year while competing at Saratoga, now has three wins and a second in his four local starts in 2015.

Live racing continues on Saturday night at the Spa with a 6:45pm first post.
