Two sensational heats of The World Driving Championship have been conducted tonight at Tabcorp Park Menangle.  In heat one is was a battle of the harness racing drivers more attuned to driving pacers with Tim Tetrick getting the maximum points from Chris Alford and Jody Jamieson.

In heat two the Europeans came to the fore with Finn Mika Forss taking the full points with a well judged drive from Spaniard Guillermo Adrover with Australia's Chris Alford finishing in fourth place for a consistent start to the series.
