Aaron Merriman wound up with 873 driving victories during 2015 to lead North American drivers for the first time. Fittingly, he won the last race of the harness racing season he competed in, the 15th at Northfield last night, rallying out of the pocket to win with Duke Uh Brava. He had four winners on Wednesday night.

 

Merriman's total of 873 wins in 2015 gives him the fifth-highest total ever among North American leaders, and seventh place overall among drivers' victories in one season:
